Meet Our Staff

Miss Erin

Happiness Manager

Administration

Hello, My name is Erin. In 2018 my family of five moved to Gainesville and we are happy to call this town home! My husband and I have three teenagers that keep us on our toes! For over 19 years I have had the opportunity to be in childcare administration across multiple states. Whether after school with the YMCA or at Summer Camp with The Salvation Army, the adventure has been one for the books! I enjoy getting to know each teacher, student and parent that comes through our door!

Mr. Joshua

Team Facilitator

Administration

Hello, I’m Joshua and I had the genuine pleasure of being on staff with Cedarville for its grand opening in 2021 before moving away after a year. I came back in June 2025 and I am so happy to be a part of this wonderful team again. I have been in childcare/early education for the better part of 12 years now and I cannot imagine doing anything else. I have a 9 year old son of my own and am absolutely in my element looking at and caring for birds, bugs, and other critters!

Miss Lucy

Hi, I’m Ms. Stacey! I was born and raised right here in Gainesville, Fl. At home, I have four cats and one German Shepard that my partner and I call our own. In my free time I love reading, crafting, and hiking with my pup. I have been working in early childhood education for 5 years now and I’m so happy I found a home at Cedarville. Working with kids is a huge passion of mine and I’m so excited for a magical school year!

Miss Sierra

Little Sprouts Teacher

Ones

Hi, I’m Sierra! I’m a 27 year old Gainesville native! I am recently (happily!) married! We have two dogs and a snake together. This is my 9th year as a preschool teacher and my second year at Cedarville, which has been the best experience yet! I love working with one year olds and watching them explore the world around them and become their own little person! It’s my favorite part of being a teacher. Outside of school I enjoy reading, video games and traveling when I can!

Miss Dawn

My name is Dawn & my family and I moved to Gainesville in 2016. I was a nanny in Chicago and worked at a day care in Indiana. I am very happy that I found CGCS. I enjoy the families and children that come here and I love my work family.

Ms. Gabby

Big Sprouts Teacher

Twos

Hello, My name is Ms. Gabby. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I have had the opportunity to be in childcare working with children aged 1-2 for the past four years, and I love it! I enjoy getting to know each teacher, student and parent that comes through our door! At home, I have three cats that my family has raised since the day they were born. Their names are Popeye, Goose, and Zelda, and they are all so playful and cuddly! I can’t wait to help make this school year amazing!

Miss Mary

Seedlings Teacher

Twos

Hi, I’m Ms. Mary and I’ve spent the majority of my life raising kids. From the time my youngest brother was born when I was eight, I knew that taking care of children was my calling. After a lifetime of running an in-home childcare, I closed my business and joined up with Cedarville to participate in teaching at an outdoor/forest school. Cedarville’s mission to nurture, encourage and educate our future adventurers, scholars and visionaries speaks to the essence of how I’ve spent the last 30-odd years.
